12-year-old girl grabs 17M hearts with moving “Bohemian Rhapsody”

Freddie must have looked down proudly.

The judges were astounded when Naomi Aye, then 12 years old, made her blind audition debut on The Voice Kids France.

Naomi will astound you with her incredible performance of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Aye played the piano and sang the song in a voice unusual for someone her age during her blind audition.

The judges heard that voice and started to spin around in their chairs, one by one.
If Naomi was nervous, it was not evident; instead, she demonstrated her abilities with a confidence that even the late Freddie Mercury would have been pleased with.

When 12-year-old Naomi played the piano and sang the song like Freddie, the judges looked on and listened in wonder. They were in awe of her amazing vocal range and many improvisations.

Aye starts off subtly, displaying a slow yet impressive command of a song that is so popular and loved all across the world.

She makes an immediate impression on judges Kendji Girac and Soprano, who both start to spin around as soon as she starts singing.

Girac stands for the rest of her performance.

Naomi gave a heartfelt and passionate performance of the song at the tender age of twelve.

She is actually Cuban and Hungarian. Aye lives in Luxembourg and is multilingual.

She began singing and playing the piano at a young age.

This illustrates Naomi’s penchant for piano music and singing.

Aye will only get better with time, therefore we hope to see her perform at big events in the future.

See here for Naomi’s incredible blind audition!
