8-Year-Old Ciana Pelekai Walked Onstage… Then Sang Like an Old Soul

When Ciana Pelekai stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage at just 8 years old, most people probably expected a cute kid performance. But the moment she opened her mouth, the whole room realized this was something very different.

Her voice carried a maturity far beyond her age — rich, confident, and full of feeling. Instead of sounding like a child simply trying to impress the judges, Ciana sang with the control and emotion of someone who truly understood the music. That “old soul” quality is what made her audition so memorable.

Years later, her talent continued to grow. Ciana later returned to AGT in Season 8 and performed songs including “Good Feeling” and “Something’s Got A Hold On Me,” earning yeses from the judges and moving forward in the competition. She also later appeared on The Voice, proving that her early audition was only the beginning.

Ciana walked onstage as a tiny 8-year-old with a big dream. She walked off as the little girl with a voice nobody could forget.
