When Don Philip walked onto The X Factor USA stage in 2012, his audition quickly became about much more than singing.
Sitting at the judges’ table was Britney Spears—someone Don already knew from a very different chapter of his life.
Years earlier, Don had recorded the duet “I Will Still Love You” with Britney for her debut album, …Baby One More Time. But while Britney went on to become one of the biggest pop stars in the world, Don’s own career never reached the heights he had hoped for.
