She Was Only 8 Years Old… Then THAT Voice Brought Every Judge to Their Feet

When Liv Gregorio stepped onto the Ireland’s Got Talent stage, she was just 8 years old—but it didn’t take long for everyone to realize that her voice was far bigger than anyone expected.

The young Irish-Filipina singer from County Cork had been singing since she was only two and was already studying musical theatre. For her big audition, Liv chose the Broadway classic “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” from Gypsy—an ambitious song even for an experienced performer.

The moment she started singing, Liv’s confidence and surprisingly powerful vocals captured the room. Despite her tiny frame and young age, she delivered the song with remarkable stage presence and maturity. By the end, all four judges were on their feet, giving the youngster a standing ovation.

Liv was overwhelmed by the reaction, later admitting that everything happened so quickly that she nearly cried. The audition earned her a place in the competition, and she eventually advanced to the semifinals of Ireland’s Got Talent.

Her performance remains a perfect example of why you should never judge talent by age. Liv may have been only eight, but when she opened her mouth to sing, she commanded the stage like a seasoned performer.
