Some auditions are carefully rehearsed. Others are created entirely in the moment. That’s what made Macshane & Delby, an Australian rap and comedy duo, one of the biggest surprises of Britain’s Got Talent 2026. Traveling all the way from Australia to Blackpool, the pair promised the judges they would perform a completely improvised freestyle rap based on random objects chosen by the audience.
As audience members held up everything from trainers and teddy bears to passports, the duo instantly turned each item into clever, fast-paced rhymes. Their razor-sharp improvisation, flawless chemistry, and incredible speed had the entire theater laughing, cheering, and wondering how they could think so quickly under pressure.
By the end of the performance, the judges were full of praise. KSI called their freestyle skills incredibly impressive, Alesha Dixon said she had huge respect for what they had just accomplished, and Amanda Holden admitted the act had completely blown her mind. Simon Cowell summed up everyone’s reaction with one unforgettable comment: “I’ve never heard it that fast ever in my life.” All four judges voted yes, sending the duo through to the next round.
The performance quickly went viral, with many fans arguing that the duo deserved a Golden Buzzer for pulling off such an extraordinary live freestyle. Whether you’re a rap fan or not, it’s hard not to be amazed by what they accomplished without a script.
