Born William Bradley Pitt in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on December 18, 1963, Brad Pitt grew up in a modest and orderly household. His family relocated to Springfield, Missouri, shortly after his birth, and he spent the majority of his early years there. William Alvin Pitt and Jane Etta Hillhouse, his parents, placed a strong emphasis on education and traditional values. Jane was a school counselor and William was the boss of a truck firm.
