‘Girl On Fire’ Performance By 9-Year-Old Wins Golden Buzzer on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Nine-year-old Angelica Hale’s spectacular performances on America’s Got Talent have been making headlines all around the world. In her first audition, she blew the judges away with a beautiful rendition of “Rise Up” by Andre Day, which quickly went viral on social media. She continued to impress in the following rounds, showing off her poise and charm as she advanced through the competition.

But it was her performance of Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” that truly set the stage ablaze. Wearing a pink dress, flared denim vest, and purple lace-up sneakers, Angelica looked like every girl in America. But when she opened her mouth to sing, she unleashed a commanding voice that left the entire audience on their feet, chanting her name in unison.

The judges were equally impressed, with Howie Mandel recalling his prediction that Angelica had a good chance of winning the competition. Simon Cowell, who initially had doubts about the young performer, admitted that she had proven him completely wrong.

But it was panelist Chris Hardwick who gave Angelica the ultimate honor, hitting the Golden Buzzer and sending a shower of confetti onto the stage. Tears streamed down Angelica’s face as she was declared the “chosen one.”

Angelica’s journey to the stage has been filled with emotional highs and lows. When she was just four years old, she was diagnosed with double pneumonia and her kidneys stopped working. Her parents feared they would lose their precious daughter, but her mother proved to be a perfect donor and saved her life. Angelica’s story is an inspiration to us all.
