The young woman was pregnant and was waiting for a miracle when doctors told her that her son was diagnosed with phocomelia which caused the baby to have undeveloped limbs.
Though it was a shock for the mother she accepted the truth and thought that it was her fate and she would live with this. She was a very positive personality and accepted her child the way he was.
She named him Katie Whiddon-Greene. The boy couldn’t do anything by himself. But the time had come and at the age of 4, the boy managed to make some steps on his own.
It was the greatest surprise for his mother who couldn’t hold her tears back seeing her boy walking.
